Our love and hatred for Confucius

Abstract: There is no rating of any character in Chinese history, which is as confusing, confusing, and difficult to adjust. There are a thousand Confucius in the minds of a thousand people, and each of them is different, from the top to the fierce attack, forming two opposites. Confucius’s problem is the most difficult academic problem in Chinese civilization tradition. As for the filial piety advocated by Confucius, it once shaped the value view and regulation of Chinese people. It also changed variously in the process of implementation, and even went to the extreme, towards the physical and mental destruction of the next generation, and burst out with the voice of Lu Xun “save the children”. However, the “dedication”, “altruistic” and “sacrifice” complaints raised by Lu Xun for his awakened parents actually realized the ultimate direction of Confucius’ “cultivating oneself to comfort others”, and behind this is the response to a series of complicated social problems such as nurturing, early childhood education, family, marriage, men and women, and nurturing. All these Chinese wisdom and Chinese plan proposals have the energy to maintain innovation, deepen the civilization tradition, and activate the vitality of excellent traditional civilization.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to do some communication with all the classmates and online companions. Tomorrow, we will come to discuss Confucius, the most famous and most influential figure in Chinese history. I trust that everyone here has heard of Confucius at most since elementary school. The master has various feelings, love, or hatred for Confucius. Some students think that I can leave Confucius alone, and I tell you that this is impossible. Whether it is benevolence, loyalty and filial piety, coming with your companions, or knowing it silently, it is said that the reason why everyone can excel at the Academy of Truth and Huo Zhen is the result of the implementation of Confucius’ “sensible and good at learning” concept over the past ten years.
First, I will start a journey of “seeking truth” with my classmates.
Have you seen Confucius in the Qinghua Garden?
1. The “Truth Seeking” Journey
In the Qinghua Garden, on the Lotus Island, and among the green trees, there is a stone statue of Confucius. It was donated to the Hong Kong Fanghua Foundation in 1996. It is 27 years old. When the master looked at this mud statue of Confucius (see Figure 1), his bones were raised, his eyes were deep, his ears were covered with thick and dense, and his eyes were gentle and solemn. He stood upright, with a bowed posture, a thin body, and was wearing a wide dress. With such a look of Confucius, there is no difference, and it is alsoThe students stay at a considerable distance when they are in their daily life, and when they go to the Hetang Islands, they will not attract the attention of their classmates and will not attract the teachers’ feelings.

Picture 2 Confucius’ mud statue holds ice
It snowed a few days ago. At that time, there were very few people in the school. There was a thick layer of snow on the body of Confucius’ statue, and no one took care of it. Unexpectedly, the snow on Confucius’ head and body was already ruined by others. I don’t know which student not only sucked the snow on Confucius’ body, but also moved a large ice block on the river to the shore and moved it to Confucius’ hands, just between Confucius’ bowing, arms and nose bridge. Those who see this scene will definitely laugh at him (see Figure 2). As soon as this, this clay statue had a close relationship with classmates in Qing Dynasty, and it had a journey, interaction, and transportation with you and me. I especially want to understand what prompted this classmate to do this series of things? First, wipe the snow, then break the ice and beat the pond, then move it over, tiptoe and vigilantly put the ice in Confucius’ arm, find an angle that is stuck so that it will not fall down. Anyone who is careless will break or break the ice block. Do you have to slap it from the head to the pool again? I guess that ordinary people who come alone are not going to do this. At most, two people must say I smile and they will do it before they go. So how do they understand each other during this trip? How do they have a tacit understanding and how do they laugh?
The croaker catches the mantis behind. Confucius holds ice官网 was photographed by me, an uninvited guest, and became an eternal memory. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was no sound around Confucius’ mud statue. I stared at this model, which was stuck under Confucius’ nose, which was actually somewhat inconsistent with this noble stone statue. This is not a good example, and it points directly to Confucius’ side, which is a stern and swaying shape that makes people respect it. Could it be that Confucius really grows like this? If the two label “Confucius” written under this clay statue are taken away, will the master consider him to be Confucius?

Picture 3 The statue of Confucius’ Swallow House
The so-called “standard image” of Confucius appeared in my brain. He is not the same as this stone statue in Qinghua. If the two images were placed along the way, they would never be considered to be the same person. “Standard Image” is also called “Confucius Yanju Image” (see Figure 3). His face has no characteristics of bulging bones and deep eyes, but his face is wide and generous, with dense patterns on the top, with long eyebrows and a wine cup on his face. The age of the image is relatively large, but the dense beard is full of black, with head and eyebrows full of black, which is not very similar to the anaconda and dams of the image. What is particularly eye-catching is that the sleeves of the standard image are larger and will hold both hands, and you can’t see whether you can hold your hands in the back, but the portrait is deliberately showing a finger from the sleeve, and the nails of this finger are longer. This is to show that “the body is skin-stretched, and the parents dare not hurt me.” Or should I leave a foot for “four bodies are not diligent and grains are not divided”? But such long nails must be the characteristics of a beautiful scholar, which is somewhat incompatible with the face shape and magnificent physical condition of the mountains. I think this artist must be a book reader. He sure he did not have the hard work of “no more than 70 lords can do it” like Confucius.
Are these clay figures and paintings the real side of Confucius?
Since we have the goal of “seeking truth”, we naturally have to go back and forth. The most beloved image of Confucius added to Qufu is a painting of a Ming people. His reliance is very good at that painting from the Tang Dynasty.Teacher Wu Daozi’s “Picture of Confucius’s Teachings” (see Figure 4). Unfortunately, Wu Daozi in the history of art did not leave any accurate paintings of the world, labeled the word “Tang Wu Daozi”, which is basically a entrusted work of later generations. Another portrait of Confucius, which was marked by the Song Dynasty painter Ma Chang, is exactly like the abstract of the painting of Wu Daozi (see Figure 5). We do not talk about the artistic consequences of the painting. Judging from Confucius’s long-term perspective, Confucius in Wu Daozi’s paintings is a classic Chinese face, which can be reflected in the impression of “Shandong Eve” in the mind of Master Tomorrow. This painting of Confucius is similar to the Southern Immortals. The magnificent bulge is enough to become a symbol. No one would think that these two painters painted the same person. From ancient times to the present, Confucius’ paintings and clay statues are different, and each painting has its own characteristics and its own distinctive characteristics. When I saw those who respected Confucius, facing the tribute of Confucius, I couldn’t help but give up the determination to make a comeback for the painters and sculptors in the middle, and laughed suddenly. It is hard to blame European physicist Georg Christoph Lichtenberg for saying that “the most interesting general in the world is the face of a human being.” But in this way, for those who are with the goal of “seeking truth”, it is difficult to find a picture closest to Confucius.
